Falcon Technic, part of Alex Group Investment, has been granted the Design Organisation Approval (DOA) by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) under approval number UAE.21J.003, becoming the first organisation in the UAE to receive this recognition directly from the Authority, without reliance on any foreign or EASA-based approvals.

This milestone demonstrates Falcon Technic’s strong engineering competence and the robustness of its Design Assurance System, which fully complies with the highest international aviation safety standards.

With this approval, Falcon Technic is authorised to design and approve minor modifications and repairs for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, covering various cabin interior changes, such as dress cover, carpet, curtain, and placard replacements, as well as limited exterior changes like aircraft livery and paint scheme adjustments, all aimed at enhancing safety, comfort, and the overall passenger experience.

The company is also in the process of obtaining its Production Organisation Approval (POA), which will enable Falcon Technic to both design and manufacture parts directly under GCAA supervision. At the same time, it has begun the approval process with EASA, Europe’s main aviation regulator, to strengthen its global reputation and open new opportunities worldwide.
