Compliance Verification Engineer

We are seeking a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) to join our GCAA-approved DOA, with ongoing efforts to obtain EASA Part 21J approval. The role involves acting as a CVE on modification projects, with responsibility for verifying and approving compliance documentation for minor changes and minor repairs related to:

  • Cabin interior modifications
  • Aircraft livery and paint schemes

Candidates may be qualified in Cabin Safety, Structures, or both.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CVE activities within the scope of the organization’s GCAA Part 21J DOA.
  • Verify and approve compliance documentation for Minor Change and Minor Repair projects.
  • Review and approve certification data, including:
    • Engineering reports
    • Drawings and modification data
    • Test plans and reports
    • Compliance documents and records
  • Define the certification basis and means of compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Certification Specifications (CS-23/25 and other relevant standards).
  • Confirm that all compliance demonstrations align with airworthiness requirements.
  • Perform and/or witness inspections and tests as part of compliance verification activities.
  • Review and approve test and inspection results.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet certification requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DOA environment as a Design Engineer and/or Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE).
  • Proven experience performing CVE responsibilities.
  • CVE capability in one or more of the following areas:
    • Cabin Safety
    • Structures
    • Both
  • Knowledge of GCAA and/or EASA Part 21 regulations.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in applying applicable Certification Specifications (CS-25 and/or other relevant CS standards).
  • Experience with:
    • Minor Change and Minor Repair certification
    • Compliance verification and approval
    • Certification documentation and substantiation
  • Experience in cabin interior and/or aircraft livery projects is preferred.
  • Experience working with GCAA or EASA regulations and approvals is considered an advantage.
